Dog Size Guide

Sizing references for samples and product specs.

Use these measurement notes when reviewing samples, preparing buyer-facing product pages, or confirming size ranges for wholesale and OEM programs.

Neck

Measure around the lower part of the neck where a collar naturally sits. Keep one to two fingers of space for comfort.

Chest

Measure around the widest part of the rib cage, just behind the front legs. This is the key measurement for harnesses and mobility support items.

Back Length

Measure from the base of the neck to the base of the tail for beds, coats, rainwear, and some support products.

Paw Width

For socks, boots, and paw grip products, measure paw width while the dog is standing so the paw is naturally spread.

Use Case

Confirm whether the product is for daily walking, outdoor activity, car access, indoor grip, senior support, or private label retail packaging.

Fit Tip

Between sizes? Choose the larger size for comfort, then use adjustment points to improve fit during sample review.

Wholesale Sizing Notes

Final size charts should be confirmed by product sample, material stretch, adjustment range, and target market. For OEM/private label projects, RovaPaw can help prepare buyer-facing size tables, packaging fit notes, and product listing copy after sample confirmation.
